Peter Steigleder
Peter brings 28 years of finance, commercial real estate and economic development experience.
Born in Germany, Peter immigrated to the United States in 1985. After studying real estate and finance at Cal State Northridge, Peter served as Director of Economic Development for the German Consulate General in Los Angeles. In 1999, Peter began his real estate career at Beitler Commercial where he earned the prestigious recognition of “Rookie of the Year” and soon thereafter earned the title of Senior Vice President. In 2006, Peter joined Lee & Associates where his consistent status as one of the company’s top producers quickly elevated him to Principal status. In 2009, he joined Delphi Business Properties as a partner before founding Hudson Commercial Partners. Peter has completed over 800 sales, leasing and development transactions during his career.
Before launching NAI Capital Finance, Inc., Peter served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Fidelity Mortgage Lenders, Inc. as 52-year-old private lending company. NAI Capital Finance is part of NAI Capital Commercial, a 42-year-old commercial real estate company with 12 offices and 250 commercial real estate agents in Southern California and is a member of NAI Global encompassing 300 offices and a team of 5,100 commercial real estate professionals worldwide.
Throughout much of his career, Peter has been an active supporter of numerous professional organizations and charitable causes. From 2019 to 2022 he served as the first non-Jewish President in the 85-year history of the Guardians of Los Angeles Jewish Health (formerly the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging). Additionally, he currently is the Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee for the National Private Lenders Association (NPLA) in addition to being a Co-Chair of the Membership Committee for the California Mortgage Association (CMA). Peter is part of The Jewish Federation Real Estate and Construction (REC) Leadership group, a member of American Association of Private Lenders (AAPL) and the Jonathan Club, a private social club founded in 1895.
